So.. I was wondering if I can bring in a color that I like and ask them to paint it for me. Would it cost extra?

Some salons don't allow it but some do. Just ask your salon. Some charge extra and some don't. They honeslty shouldn't charge you extra since they are using your product and not theirs, but they might charge you for the ';labor';. it all depends on the salon. If your a regular customer, sweet talk them into doing it and suggest them on getting that color for a ';prefered customer';. It depends on the salon, so you should call ahead and ask the salon. I've gone to more expensive salons, and they usually refuse to use anything that you bring in simply because they don't want to be held responsible if you get an infection and try to sue them. However, most cheaper salons are fine with using whatever you bring in.

yes of course you can. As long as it's goodish quality paint that they will be able to achieve a good result from. If its cheap nail polish that won't go on nicely even when a profession doing it don't bring it in. But if you no they will be able to use it then bring it in. It won't cost you any extra either!
Hmm I find nail salon owners are usually pretty easy to piss off.. you might have to deal with them talking about you in a language that you don't understand like I usually am when I ask for something specific that they don't usually do..

Well, it all depends which nail salon, but i think that it would be fine, and you would~'t (and shouldn't) have to pay extra. if you do though, make sure its a reasonable price to pay, because you or a friend could always do your nails, for free. :) i really hope this helped.
they may charge u a small fee...but it probably won't be big enough to be like a deal breaker! chances are though that they'll have something similar to the color you were going to bring anyway

I've done this before. People do this all the time. Take in what ever color/brand you like. They won't mind. Actually, it saves them money.
My mother has her own manicure utensils she takes with her everytime. She does this for hygenic reasons.
I don't think that it would cost you anything extra. I would certainly recommend that you take your own polish. One reason being that it is more sanitary and you will know how good the quality of the polish is.
You might want to bring in a few bottles of the color in case they don't have it, but they may have it, and charge you a little extra.
