iHave this bad habit... When iHave too much nail polish on one nail iRub it with one finger and apply it somewhere else... iUsed to do that on my books but now its on my wall :(How can I get black nail polish off my wall without damaging the paint?
2 tricks:

Be sure to test on an inconspicuous area first because results vary with different paint types:

Add a dab of clear nail polish on the black let it soften it, then wipe it off while still wet. Might take a couple tries but usually works. I've done this plenty on various paints and materials succesfully only leaving a tad bit of clear polish behind which is barely noticable.

or

(NOTE This one is not be a good idea on soome paints so testing is important, I only tried it on a type of oil based paint sucessfully but some other paints it will take the paint off too.)

Non acetone nailpolish remover, (make sure its clear not heavy in dyes that might stain) on some surfaces it takes the polish off but not paint it really depends on the paint type. Wipe with plain water afterwards.
