Taking off fake nail paint?

i just got my nails done and i dont really like the paint job they did too much. i was thinking about just taking off the paint with non-acitone nail polish remover and repainting them. will this hurt the nails?Taking off fake nail paint?

but what normally works is:


just soak them in nail polish remover.


rub a cotton ball over the nail.


let dry.


then paint as desired.
not at all. just make sure it's a mild remover, like the non-acetone polish remover you mentioned. try some by the brandname 'Onyxprofessional' ($2.00 at Walmart)
You'll be fine as long as the remover is non-acetone, I only know this because thats what my wife make me buy for her fake nails

no. as long as you use non-acetone you will be fine. it may take awhile cause they glob on that clear coat...ugh i hate that. so try soaking them for a minute or 2 before trying to take it off....will make it alittle easier! =)
